If you want both of these things then Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle or Tale of Princess Kaguya are the way to go. If you want a fantastical epic go for Nausica'a of the Valley of the Wind, Princess Mononoke or maybe Laputa (although its not as good as the other two.)
